The Ascaso Dream PID is the most symbolic professional home-espresso machine in the Ascaso catalog. The stunning retro aesthetic will complement any kitchen and become the highlight of your home or office. The newest version of the Dream PID includes a bevy of professional upgrades including improved volumetric controls, professional 58mm portafilter size, adjustable over-pressure valve, analog pressure gauge, improved no-burn steam wand, and thermoblock insulation.
The Dream's new PID also includes advanced features like temperature and offset control, pre-infusion, power-saving modes, and single or double shot programming. This model even features offset programming, letting you calibrate temperature to account for drops in the system on the way to your glass.
The 58mm group and portafilter opens you up to a range of aftermarket accessories, including replacement gaskets and dispersion screens from the popular E61 format. Unlike the original, the Dream PID is packed with programming for power saving, pre-infusion, and shot length programming. Another welcome change, the Dream PID has swapped its analog temperature gauge to monitor pressure instead.
An externally-accessible screw lets you set the max pressure the pump will push through your group head. In addition to giving you an extra parameter to play with, this opens up the Dream PID to backflushing. The Dream PID's enhanced volumetric controls, including digitally displayed PID temperature control, adjustable in one-degree increments, as well as programmable settings for preinfusion, single shot, double shot, and auto-standby, make it easier to produce and repeat a consistently good quality espresso.
The Dream PID body is manufactured in aluminum. After preliminary polishing, the machine is treated with a high-quality varnish for a lasting finish and vibrant colors. The 58mm professional portafilter features a real walnut wood handle with an ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing design to complement any home kitchen.
The new aluminum & stainless steel thermoblock group gives continuous, unlimited steam with constant pressure and provides enhanced stability and minimal energy consumption. Limescale will not build up in the stainless steel thermoblock circuits leading to a longer-lasting machine.
